Modelling, Simulation and Games (MS&G)
The staff at Acron have many years of experience in Modelling,
Simulation and Games (MS&G) technology in Canada and overseas. Acron
provides a full range of services in the three main areas of Live, Virtual
and Constructive Simulation and Serious
Games. Acron has technical
staff that can construct stand-alone or distributed M&S assets using
our own tools, or other commercial tools and can also provide
management staff for projects at many different levels. Modelling and Simulation is a very important tool that allows
capability engineering processes to be implemented. It
is a cornerstone of our delivery mechanism to our client base.
Simulators
Acron builds and integrates simulators for many different
applications and platforms. We are able to build many
types of vehicle simulators from aircraft, ground vehicles,
maritime systems, heavy construction equipment and many others.
Our expertise also includes the implementation of dismounted and
mounted infantry simulation systems. These simulators are
available as desktop trainers, cockpit or vehicle shells or
immersive systems. We can custom design simulators to suit

Acron 3D Modeller
The Acron 3D Modeller application is a
powerful integrated 3D modeling tool for real time graphics.
This application has been specifically engineered for the
Modelling, Simulation and Gaming (MS&G) industry with support
for industry standard 3D formats and modelling formats used in
the entertainment industry such as Microsoft Flight Simulator
™. Now it is easier than ever to share your models across
synthetic environments, or create new models from the tens of
thousands of freeware and shareware models available on the

Calytrix Product Range
Acron is a VAR for the
Calytrix software product range and uses these tools in our
day-to-day MS&G work. Let us show you how these

Modelling and Simulation Laboratory
The Acron office in Gatineau, Quebec includes a Modelling and Simulation
laboratory for R&D purposes and the development of specific
customer capability. We have software and simulation
devices for Constructive and Virtual simulation that complements
and stimulates our C4ISR systems and information exchange model
construct. A persistent IEEE 1516 HLA federation runs
continually and our dedicated partner network have access to the
federation. We have partnership arrangements and
agreements in place with many major simulation system providers
to allow us to test and develop specific M&S systems.
COTS Serious Games Initiative -

Acron specializes in the integration of
Commercial-Off-The-Shelf (COTS) gaming technology into
distributed HLA federations. We also have a very talented
team of staff that can modify gaming engines for specific
purposes, including first responders and defence personnel
training. Projects include the integration of COTS products such
as X-Plane™, Virtual
BattleSpace™, Americas Army™
and Microsoft Flight Simulator™ into
DIS and HLA distributed simulation environments.
